Lakadong Turmeric
Guaranteed minimum 8% on every lot, measured by HPLC. Ordinary turmeric runs 2–3%.

Lakadong is a premium variety of turmeric grown in the Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, India. It is naturally rich in curcumin the compound responsible for turmeric's colour and many of its beneficial properties. While standard turmeric typically contains 2–3% curcumin, our Lakadong turmeric is tested to contain 8–9%. Every batch is independently analysed, and the laboratory report is provided with your order so you know exactly what you're buying.
Curcumin, side by side
% by weight · HPLCOrdinary turmeric sits at 2–3%. Our Lakadong lots run 8–9%, so you get more active compound per container and a lower cost per gram. We guarantee a minimum of 8% and put the real HPLC number for your lot on the certificate.
A Certificate of Analysis, not a claim.
Commodity turmeric is bought on a supplier's word. We'd rather you bought on numbers, so we test every export lot at an independent laboratory and the results ship with the goods.

You're buying curcumin, not colour
If you extract or formulate, the curcumin is the whole point. Where commodity turmeric sits at 2–3%, our Lakadong lots run 8–9%, so you get more active compound per container and a lower cost per gram. We commit to a guaranteed minimum and send the HPLC number for your actual lot, so nothing rests on a claim.
You can tell your customer exactly where it grew
The GI registration pins Lakadong to one region and one cultivar. When your buyer asks where it comes from, "Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya, a GI-registered variety" is an answer that survives scrutiny. "India, unspecified" isn't. That provenance is part of what you're reselling.
It clears the strict borders
Japan tightens inspection after a single residue slip. Australia checks at the dock. The EU runs hard limits on pesticides and heavy metals. Our Certificate of Analysis covers curcumin, moisture, pesticides, heavy metals, ethylene oxide, aflatoxin and microbial load, so your broker and your QA people have what they need before the container lands.
