What is the minimum order quantity?

Do you provide samples?

Yes. Samples are free and you cover the courier. They come from the exact lot we would ship you.

Which Incoterm should I ask for?

If you have not imported from India before, ask for CIF. We get the goods to your port, insured, and your customs broker takes it from there — the part they do best. If you already have a freight forwarder in India, ask for EXW or FOB. We work with EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF. We do not offer DDP, and you should be careful with anyone who does: DDP means the seller promises to clear your customs and pay your duty, which they can neither see nor control. It sounds generous and it often fails at the border.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer and Letter of Credit, on the terms in the table above. We do not accept Western Union, MoneyGram, personal bank accounts or cryptocurrency.

Why do you ask for 50% advance on trial orders?

Accepted Answer

Trial orders are small, which makes a Letter of Credit more expensive and more trouble than it is worth. So we work on 50% advance and 50% against the Bill of Lading. If you would rather have the banking protection, we also accept LC at sight.

Do you test products before shipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every batch is independently tested before export, and the Certificate of Analysis travels with the goods. The full process is on our quality page.

What documents will I get?

With every consignment, without chasing us: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading or Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, a Certificate of Analysis for your lot, and a Fumigation Certificate where your country requires one. Two are worth knowing about. Your customs will not release the goods without the Phytosanitary Certificate. And the Certificate of Origin can reduce your duty under some trade agreements, so do not lose it.

What do you need from me?

Four things, and the earlier the better. Your full legal company name and address exactly as they appear on your import registration — not your trading name, not an abbreviation, because documents that do not match the registration are the commonest reason goods sit at a port. Your import registration number (EORI in the UK and EU, FDA registration and US Agent for the United States, CFIA licence for Canada). Your destination port, and your customs broker's details if you have one. And any labelling your market requires on the packaging.

What can go wrong?

A batch can fail our testing. Then it does not ship, you hear on the day we know, and we start again with another batch. That costs time, not money, because we do not charge you for goods we rejected. Customs can also hold a consignment: the EU runs extra checks on several origins, India among them, so a sample may be taken at the border. It is routine and it is not personal, and it is exactly why we test before shipping rather than hoping. Anything else — port congestion, a missed vessel, a slow inspection — happens to everyone. The rule never changes: you find out from us on the day we find out, not the day before you expected delivery.

What if the goods are wrong when they arrive?

You have 14 days. Send us the lot number and your own laboratory result. We pull the complete record — the producer, the processing date, our sampling record and the original lab report — and send you all of it, including anything that shows the fault was ours. Then we replace the goods or refund you. We would rather lose the money than argue with you about a lab report.
